I have an eclectic background having lived and worked in a variety of countries and industries, but I've spent most of my time in the world of venture capital. I felt called to return to my roots in the arts. I have a BFA in Art with an emphasis in painting and drawing, but my love for art began with photography. I was mentored by National Geographic photographer Richard Menzies at age 10. He taught me to photograph with film and develop in a dark room. When my tutelage was coming to a close, he gifted me one of his cameras and I've treasured it since then.
I'm passionate about my craft and am very detail-oriented. I'm here to take the stress away and allow you to step into the frame. I'm a mom to two young ones and I'm right there in the throws of parenting with you. I delight in the weirdness of kids. I love the silly, bizarre, emotional, tender, thoughtful lens little ones bring to the world. Parenting is truly incomparable to any other experience, it's exhausting and hard and rewarding beyond belief.
photographs artfully documenting these bonds mean everything. I also greatly value the connections between generations these heirlooms forge. I feel so connected to my ancestors as I look through family photos and I want to extend this gift to my children and beyond. I can't wait to help you do the same. This work is important! Thank you for trusting me.
